No direct predecessor: Volvo intended the V60 to be a lifestyle estate, while V50 and V70 were more traditional load-luggers, though eventually it supplanted the former.

Mid-sized family car from Isuzu, originally launched 1966. It soldiered on in Japan into the 1980s, never finding a large market, and was replaced by a version of GM’s J-car, dubbed the Florian Aska. The Florian tag was eventually dropped in the mid-1980s.
