Subaru Legacy (スバル レガシィ)/Subaru Outback (スバル アウトバック) (BN9/BS). 2014–20 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan, 5-door wagon. F/A, 2498 cm³ (F4 DOHC), 3630 cm³ (F6 DOHC). Larger Legacy, this time in sedan form only in the Japanese home market as Levorg took over from the regular wagons; Legacy Outback wagon joined the range a few months after the sedan. Hexagonal grille, slight cab-forward proportions, more rigid body. Sedan looked sleeker than before. Subaru’s EyeSight system with lane assistance and auto-braking among the features, in addition to blind spot detection. FB25 felt underpowered, especially with the extra weight, though refinement was improved. Sedan not replaced on the home market.
