Premier 118 NE. 1985–2001 (prod. n/a). 4-door saloon. F/R, 1171 cm³ (I4 OHV). Indian Fiat 124 (1966–75) remake (or more accurately the SEAT 124 Pamplona), mated to Nissan Cherry engine developing 38 kW. More common in the west of India than the north, and ran alongside older Padmini for some years. Popular in its earlier years, but the company got into some legal issues in its final years with its assembly ventures with Peugeot (309) and Fiat (Uno).
