BYD e3. 2019 to date (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan. F/F, 35·2, 43·2, 47·3 kWh electric. Booted version of the e2. The 43·2 kWh unit was introduced in 2021, with the others removed from the range. Fewer updates than the hatchback, with no 2023 facelift. As with e2, inoffensive design, though cheap interior materials and overall build quality left something to be desired. Even some export models skimped on standard equipment, too, such as side and curtain airbags and a spare tyre.
