Hatchback model that began life slotting in between Ballade and Accord ranges at Honda. The first-generation model was a worthy car but its styling hardly distinguished it; the second-generation one was equipped with a DOHC engine and pop-up headlights to signify its compact sports’ sedan positioning. The Quint, called Quintet outside Japan, eventually gave way to the Integra, and a long line of small, sporting Hondas.
