Opel Agila (FXB22/FXB32). 2008–14 (prod. n/a). 5-door saloon. F/F, 996 cm³ (I3 DOHC), 1242 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Suzuki Splash by any other name, off the same production line in Hungary. Slight changes to the bonnet and grille, but few other differences.

Chevrolet Celta. 2000–15 (prod. 600,000 approx. to end of 2005). 3- and 5-door sedan. F/F, 999, 1389 cm³ (I4 OHC). Rebodied version of Opel Corsa B for Brazil, aimed at the budget end of the market, and badged Suzuki Fun in Argentina. GM believed that there was room for a well designed small car for the less affluent buyer. Styled by Paulo Konno. Light, good acceleration. Larger 1·4 engine from 2003. Facelift in 2006 to resemble Chevrolet Vectra (2005–11) more. Range trimmed in 2009, removing more upscale Super model; down to 1·0 in two trims (LS and LT) in 2012. Onix replaced more upscale Celtas in November 2012; Onix Joy took over from the rest of the line in 2015.

q.v. Chevrolet Prisma (2007–13)
IKCO Samand. 2000–22 (prod. n/a). 4-door saloon. F/F, 1587, 1648 cm³ petrol, 1648 cm³ petrol–CNG (I4 DOHC), 1761 cm³ (I4 OHC). The replacement for the long-running Paykan, with the project begun by Iran Khodro (IKCO) in 1996. Peugeot 405 platform and engine, but in other respects an Iranian-developed car, and considered a “national car”. Quality said to be superior to 405. New 1·6 engine from 2009. Base model to 2011; LX from 2003 to 2022. Called Venirauto Centauro in Venezuela. Deleted on government order, when IKCO and SAIPA were requested to modernize their facilities.
