Toyota BB/Daihatsu Coo (QNC2/M400S). 2005–13 (prod. n/a). 5-door wagon. F/F, F/A, 1297, 1495 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Boxy wagon, originally launched 2005 as a Toyota, and 2006 as a Daihatsu, and made by Daihatsu. Officially bB. Badge-engineered as Subaru Dex, and exported as Daihatsu Materia. Can be thought of as a long-wheelbase wagon version of Daihatsu Boon (M300). Spacious inside, though not the most economical or refined; not even that cheap in some countries. Sold mostly on its distinctive looks.

F/R, 1796, 1991 cm³ petrol, 2143 cm³ diesel (I4 DOHC), 2987 cm³ diesel, 2996, 3498 cm³ petrol (V6 DOHC), 4663, 5461 cm³ (V8 DOHC). Coupé version of E-Klasse (W212) but in fact based on C-Klasse (W204) platform. More upscale than the C, with E-style interior and appointments; also far more refined. Not the sportiest handling but highly comfortable, with a well functioning adaptive cruise control. Styling not as restrained as predecessor and quite attractive in the metal. Cabriolet from 2010, with A207 code. Coupé the most aerodynamic car in production when launched, with Cd of 0,24.

Pontiac Grand Ville. 1971–5 (prod. 290,327 approx.). 4-door hardtop sedan, 2-door hardtop coupé, 2-door convertible. F/R, 400, 455 in³ (V8 OHV). Plusher Bonneville, as GM found that buyers were choosing to have more luxury. Same long 126 in wheelbase as Bonneville, with the addition of convertible, though the wheelbase was reduced to 124 in for 1973, then 123·4 in for the final year. Soft suspension with good ride. Interior materials were never as premium as the marketing suggested. Wagons were called Grand Safari. Eventually absorbed into the Bonneville range with sales falling after the fuel crisis.
