SEAT Ateca/Cupra Ateca (KH7). 2016 to date (prod. n/a). 5-door SUV. F/F, F/A, 999 cm³ (I3 DOHC), 1498, 1984 cm³ petrol, 1598, 1968 cm³ diesel (I4 DOHC). Sister car to Škoda Karoq, on the same platform and out of the same factory. Firm suspension, in keeping with SEAT’s sportier ambitions, but at the expense of ride. Body roll well maintained with good overall control. Like the Karoq, very roomy for its class. Twinned with Jetta VS5 in China. Potent Cupra Ateca with 300 PS and four-wheel drive from 2018. Facelift in 2020.
