Inside Autocade
Shinjin Jeep. 1974–81 (prod. n/a). Convertible UV, 3-door UV, 3-door LWB UV. F/A, 2199 cm³ petrol, 2771 cm³ diesel (I4 OHV), 3801 cm³ (I6 OHV). Shinjin Motors and AMC established Shinjin Jeep in 1974, with more local content, with designs based around the Jeep CJ-5. Hurricane 2·2 cast-iron four carried over, though AMC six with 100 hp added in September 1974. AMC withdrew from the venture in 1978. Isuzu diesel engine added 1979. CJ-7-based models from 1980.
Manufacturing location: Korea

Mahindra Marazzo (U321). 2018 to date (prod. n/a). 5-door MPV. F/F, 1497 cm³ diesel (I4 DOHC). New platform and new engine for MPV sized between Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and Toyota Innova Crysta, though actually wider than the Toyota, and with a longer wheelbase. Body-on-frame construction with plenty of wheel travel, claimed to work better on rougher roads. Engine refined but underpowered, and interior dynamics not the best, but a major step ahead of the Xylo.
Manufacturing location: Nashik, Maharashtra, India
Marque: Mahindra | Predecessor: Mahindra Xylo
Riich G6. 2011–13 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan. F/F, 1971 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Originally shown 2009, and based on a Bertone proposal for a Chery Eastar revealed a year earlier, Riich’s flagship was not launched till the second half of 2011. Although G5 proved to be a flop, G6 was priced even more highly, in an attempt to show that Chery was prepared to take its new brand further upmarket. Similar turbocharged engine to G5—and even similar external appearance. Packed full of standard equipment, including a six-disc DVD system and heated seats. Poor refinement despite all the goodies.
Manufacturing location: Wuhu, Anhui, China
Marque: Riich
