Riich G6. 2011–13 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan. F/F, 1971 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Originally shown 2009, and based on a Bertone proposal for a Chery Eastar revealed a year earlier, Riich’s flagship was not launched till the second half of 2011. Although G5 proved to be a flop, G6 was priced even more highly, in an attempt to show that Chery was prepared to take its new brand further upmarket. Similar turbocharged engine to G5—and even similar external appearance. Packed full of standard equipment, including a six-disc DVD system and heated seats. Poor refinement despite all the goodies.
