Pontiac T-37. 1971 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan, 2-door coupé, 2-door hardtop coupé. F/R, 250 in³ (I6 OHV), 250 in³ (I6 OHC), 350, 400 in³ (V8 OHV). Tempest T-37 simplified further, with sound deadening removed, even badges, to save weight and cost. Now listed in the 1971 Pontiac brochures as a separate line. Could be optioned as a GT-37 as in 1970, effectively creating a cut-price GTO, which could even outperform the more expensive car. Four-door added to range. Ultimately absorbed into the LeMans range.
