Renault Taliant. 2021 to date (prod. n/a). 4-door saloon. F/F, 999 cm³ petrol, 999 cm³ petrol–LPG (I3 DOHC). Taking over from the Symbol, and, like before, a Renault-badged version of the Dacia Logan. Front and rear ends unique this time, giving Taliant a slightly more distinctive appearance. Alfa Romeo 147 (Tipo 937). 2000–9 (prod. n/a). 3- and 5-door saloon. F/F, 1599, 1970 cm³ petrol, 1910 cm³ diesel (I4 DOHC), 1910 cm³ diesel (I4 OHC), 3179 cm³ (V6 DOHC). European Car of the Year for 2001, with attractive styling by Walter de’Silva and Wolfgang Egger. Mid-term facelift in 2004, bringing 147 into line with larger 159 and Brera. Hot hatch GTA flagship with 247 bhp the most distinctive. Good handling, but firm ride.

Geely Boyue L (FX11). 2022 to date (prod. n/a). 5-door SUV. F/F, 1480 cm³–41·2 kWh petrol–electric hybrid (I3 DOHC), 1499, 1969 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Sleeker, more futuristic replacement for Boyue, larger all round. CMA platform, shared with Volvo XC40 and Polestar 2. Hybrid with combined 286 PS. Very good chassis and brakes, but some noise at high speed.
