Ford Expedition (UN93)
From AutocadeFord Expedition (UN93). 1997–2002 (prod. n/a). 5-door SUV. F/R, F/A, 4601, 5408 cm³ (V8 OHC). Ford’s full-size SUV, derived from the F-150 truck, and replacing the three-door Bronco. Took its name from a Ford Explorer Sport trim level. Wider and longer than contemporary Chevrolet Tahoe (1992–2000), its principal competitor. Seating for up to nine passengers. Well equipped, sensibly laid out interior. Independent front suspension with live rear axle. Despite standard V8s, could feel underpowered due to the size; unrefined suspension. Towing capacity at 8,100 lb with 5·4.
