Audi 80
From AutocadeOriginally denoting an Audi F103 developing 80 PS, 80 became the model name for a modern front-drive range of Audis in the 1970s with lightweight OHC engines. The B2 generation was closely related to the B1, while in the 1980s, the range went aerodynamic, following the pattern of the Audi 100. B4 was a heavily revised B3, before the range became A4 in the 1990s. At one point, many five-cylinder 80s were renamed Audi 90 (before being absorbed back into the 80 range), while the sport models were badged Audi Coupé.
