Mazda’s sedan and wagon flagship range for many years, though eventually the wagon disappeared. Originally very European in style, before a period apeing US trends, before heading back to Europe for inspiration again. Exported as 1500, 1800, RX-4, RX-9 and, most commonly through its long run, 929. Succeeded by the Sentia.
