Hyundai Elantra

Hyundai fills the gap between the Excel and Sonata, with an inoffensive, and cheaply built, compact sedan. Only a single generation in Korea; the Elantra’s successors all wore the Avante badge. However, in many export markets, the Avante was also badged Elantra, presumably due to a potential trade mark conflict with Audi’s use of Avant.
