Volkswagen Fox. 2003–21 (prod. n/a). 3- and 5-door sedan. F/F, 999, 1198, 1390, 1599 cm³ petrol, 1422 cm³ diesel (I4 OHC). Supermini developed by Volkswagen do Brasil and sold in Europe from 2005. More stylish than Lupo but not better made and not that refined, aiming for budget end of market. Spun off raised faux off-roader, CrossFox, and Suran wagon, the latter covered separately. Facelifted in 2010. Continued in Brazil, though European sales ended on the launch of the Volkswagen Up. Facelifted again in 2014, with the three-door deleted, with new front and rear ends and a revised interior similar to that of the 2014 Volkswagen Polo V.
