Renault Caravelle. 1962–8 (prod. 117,113 incl. Floride). 2-door convertible, 2-door coupé. R/R, 956, 1108 cm³ (I4 OHV). Floride adopts the Caravelle moniker in France and other countries, following the US export name. Fixed-head coupé with 1·0 introduced, with full rear seat, decent rear headroom, and four-wheel disc brakes, and now on Renault 8 running gear. The 1·1 (55 PS) was added 1964, and 1100S (57·5 PS) in 1966.
