Revolutionary in looks when launched: a Kia that looks better than most mid-sized sedans? Kia, under Peter Schreyer’s design direction, came up with a car that looked better than the Hyundai Sonata on which it was based, never mind that dynamically, it wasn’t quite as good as its styling. A second-generation model smoothed out the original, but it lost some of its sharpness. Third-generation fastback model remedied those deficiencies.
