Holden Torana

Small car to complement regular Holdens, originally based around the Vauxhall Viva (HB) and taking its own path thereafter. Known at one point as the only Australian car to offer a four, and six and a V8 in its range. Eventually spun off into Holden Sunbird four-cylinder models, with larger-engined models retaining Torana name; all were swept aside with the advent of the Holden Commodore.
