Ford LTD. 1973–8 (prod. n/a). 2- and 4-door sedan, 2- and 4-door hardtop sedan, 5-door wagon. F/R, 302, 351, 400, 429, 460 in³ (V8 OHV). Roughly the same as its predecessor but heavier, with poor gas mileage averaging in the low 10s. Restyle for 1975 as Galaxie range absorbed into this line. Poor visibility in two-doors, alleviated slightly with restyle. Brougham and Landau the plushest models; top wagon dubbed Country Squire. Twinned with Mercury Marquis (1973–8).
