Boxy saloon and estate range that spawned clones made under licence by SEAT, Kia, VAZ, Tofaş and Premier, as well as an attractive sports coupé and a long-lived convertible. Its centre section was donated to the larger Fiat 125. Successful at the time, with over 1·2 million of the saloon and estate made, and with all its clones, actually stayed in production in one form or another from 1966 to 2012. So beloved by Fiat that the nameplate was revived in 2016 for a Mazda-based roadster.
