Giovanni Michelotti executes a more stylish body for the larger DAF, with a wheelbase c. 200 mm longer than the Daffodil, and the flat-twin stroked to 844 cm³. Still with Variomatic CVT, though swing-axle rear suspension altered to more compact design. Engine noisy and unrefined, though reasonable sales kept it going to 1974. Twelve-volt electrics from 1972.
