MG MGB. 1967–71 (prod. 218,870). 2-door convertible. F/R, 1798 cm³ (I4 OHV). Same engine (95 bhp) and similar appearance, but revisions included GT-type rear axle, and automatic option. Revised interior from 1969 when ROstyle wheels became standard; these models were marked outwardly by a recessed black grille.

q.v. MG MGB GT Mk II
Volvo 1800E. 1969–71 (prod. 9,414). 2-door coupé. F/R, 1985 cm³ (I4 OHV). Bosch D-Jetronic fuel injection added to B20E engine, producing 130 bhp with no drop in fuel economy. Four wheel disc brakes from 1970. Car appearing dated despite more modern engine. Steering on the heavy side, but rode well.

Honda Freed (GB3/GB4/GP3). 2008–16 (prod. n/a). 5-door wagon. F/F, F/A, 1496 cm³ petrol, 1496 cm³ petrol–electric hybrid (I4 OHC). Boxy lifestyle van based around Honda Fit (GE), with hybrid option. Facelift in 2011. Six-light styling, but model with four-light dubbed Freed Spike (from 2012), with additional storage space. Five-, seven- and eight-seat versions.
