Cadillac Runabout/Cadillac Tonneau. 1903 (prod. 1,895). 2- and 4-seat carriage, 2-seat van. M/R, 98·2 in³ (1 cyl. inline valve). Henry Leland-designed Cadillac with Brush patented variable-lift intake valve. Retrospectively titled Model A. Shown at New York Auto Show, where 2,286 cars ordered. Power between 6·5 and 9 hp. Mechanically similar to 1902–8 single-cylinder models. Twelve-spoke wheels, rather than 14.
