Fairlane shared Falcon model code (AU) colloquially, resting on stretched EA169 platform shared with Falcon wagon. Distinctive looks, with unique sheetmetal other than doors, resembling Lincoln Town Car (1990–7) in some respects. Favoured by hire car companies. Millennium Ghia special in 1999. Cross-range revisions July 2000. October 2000 saw 75th Anniversary Ghia limited edition; Sportsman Ghia from March 2001 to the end of 2002.
