Originally a front-wheel-drive-only clone of the second-generation Toyota RAV4, without any licence payments to Toyota, though soon Tiggo denoted many of Chery’s crossover lineup. The original Tiggo became the Tiggo 3, and others, with thankfully more original designs as the Chinese car market matured, joined it.
