F/A, 2429 cm³ petrol, 2766 cm³ diesel (I4 DOHC), 2500 cm³ diesel (I4 OHC), 3700 cm³ (V6 OHC). DaimlerChrysler replaces the venerable Cherokee with a more traditional-looking Jeep, giving it a name change for US and Canada, while the old Cherokee ran alongside briefly. Sold as Cherokee in most markets. Very capable off-road, and not that bad on the tarmac. On the heavy side among compact SUVs.
Marque: Jeep | Model: Jeep Liberty | Predecessor: Jeep Cherokee (XJ) | Successor: Jeep Liberty (KK)
