DaimlerChrysler replaces the venerable Cherokee with a more traditional-looking Jeep, giving it a name change for US and Canada, while the old Cherokee ran alongside briefly. Sold as Cherokee in most markets. Very capable off-road, and not that bad on the tarmac. On the heavy side among compact SUVs.
