Volvo S60 (P24). 2000–9 (prod. 578,293). 4-door saloon. F/F, F/A, 1984, 2319, 2401, 2435, 2521 cm³ petrol, 2401 cm³ diesel, 2435 cm³ petrol–LPG, 2435 cm³ petrol–CNG (I5 DOHC). Mid-sized saloon spawned from larger S80 platform, but with sportier image and coupé roofline. Shared platform also with V70 estate. Mid-term facelift in 2005. Comfortable and refined but not as sporting as styling suggested. Considered another departure from staid, boxy appearance of older Volvos, including the S70, which it replaced.
