Triumph 1500. 1970–3 (prod. 66,353). 4-door saloon. F/F, 1493 cm³ (I4 OHV). Smart facelift by Michelotti, with boot lengthened, though centre section stayed largely the same. Well appointed as before, but with redesigned interior. Output at 61 bhp initially; upped to 65 bhp in 1972. Still front drive, and more expensive to build compared with RWD Toledo, which commenced production at the same time.
