From AutocadeShanghai Maple Haifeng (華普 海鋒/华普 海锋/SMA 7152/SMA 7182). 2006–11 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan. F/F, 1498, 1762 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Taking the Citroën ZX as a base, Geely stretched the wheelbase by 10 cm, and gave it an elongated tail with a design apeing that of the Cadillac CTS (2003–7). Meant to be a mid-sized mainstream model but as it aged, Geely positioned it more as an economically priced model, increasing localization of its components. Good value for money, considered to have reasonable fuel economy, and suspension tuned for both ride comfort and handling. Larger engine deleted by 2009. Continued in to the 2010s, but Geely turned its attention to its Englon brand, and offered the SC7 as a mid-sized sedan with larger engines, and let Haifeng see out its days.
Marque: Shanghai Maple | Successor: Englon SC7 q.v. Shanghai Maple Haishang, Shanghai Maple Haiyue, Shanghai Maple Haiyu, Shanghai Maple Haixun
