Saab 900
From AutocadeOne of Saab’s longest-running nameplates, beginning with a long-nose 99 in the 1970s, through to a GM-derived range in the 1990s. The first generation was particularly famous for its turbocharged models, and helped established Saab among individualistic buyers; the second, developed under GM, was meant to herald a new beginning, but the Opel Vectra A-based platform was no match for the likes of BMW, which became an ever more popular choice among buyers in this segment.
