Saab 9-7X. 2005–9 (prod. n/a). 5-door SUV. F/A, 4160 cm³ (I6 DOHC), 5328, 5999 cm³ (V8 OHV). Rebadged and facelifted Oldsmobile Bravada (2002–4) with a few Saab touches, including grille. Lowered, with stronger emphasis on performance than sister SUVs on GMT360 platform. GM developed the 9-7X for the US market where Saab owners were leaving for SUVs; purists pointed out that it was not made in Trollhättan, Sweden. Very American, but execution not bad considering it was never developed as part of the original GMT360 series. Aero model equipped with six-litre V8.
