Proton Perdana (P4-90B). 2016 to date (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan. F/F, 1997 cm³ (I4 OHC), 2354 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Rebodied Perdana, now available to the public. Handsome six-light fastback body hid Honda Inspire (CP3) roots neatly. Rear reminiscent of Opel Insignia A. Interior hardly changed from the Inspire donor car, and sat–nav not really up to scratch for the mid-2010s. Refined, but not up with competitors; good ride, but again, hardly at the top of the class. Acceptable effort given the limited budget.
