Peugeot 1007. 2004–9 (prod. 120,000 approx.). 3-door saloon. F/F, 1360 cm³ petrol, 1398 cm³ diesel (I4 OHC), 1560 cm³ diesel, 1587 cm³ petrol (I4 DOHC). First Peugeot to bear a double-zero in the middle of the name, signalling that it was intended for a niche market. Electric-powered sliding doors, semi-automatic transmission. Citroën C3 platform. Good driving position with clever use of storage space, but mediocre ride and body roll. Not very successful, as prices were high, and buyers opted for the more conventional Peugeot 107 and 207 instead.
