Opel Sintra (U-body/GMX110). 1996–9 (prod. n/a). 5-door MPV. F/R, 2171 cm³ diesel (I4 OHC), 2198 cm³ petrol (I4 DOHC), 2962 cm³ (V6 DOHC). European version of GM U-body minivans, but with Opel engines. Well equipped, though the engines were superior to the build quality. Very unreliable with its US assembly and poor fit and finish, not that safe in Euro NCAP tests, and deleted in 1999. Sold in the UK as Vauxhall Sintra.
