Longer, lower, wider, with up to 40 kg reduction in weight. No LWB version, with X-trail taking over the seven-seat market’s duties (including in Japan). More advanced active safety, but some minor issues with ride. Continued in China, with 2024 facelift looking similar to the one that the J12A Qashqai received in the UK.
