Fifth-generation Mini begins with electric models only, developed under a joint venture with Changcheng and made in China. Purer surfaces, intended to hark back to the original, modernist philosophy. Interior dominated by a single, central circular display, with all applications running in the circular format. Shorter overall outside, with shorter overhangs. Wider interior, though not particularly roomy inside, with rear seats realistically for children, and the boot 200 ℓ with the rear seats up (800 ℓ with them down).
