Lower than seventh generation, with less weight (thanks to ultra-high-strength steel, and resin wings) and more rigid body. Carol Eco was the Mazda equivalent to the Alto Eco, reaching a claimed 37 km/ℓ (104·5 mpg [Imperial]). Improvements in 2018, with lane departure warning and rear parking sensor.
