Suzuki Alto (HA36S/HA36V). 2014 to date (prod. n/a). 5-door sedan. F/F, F/A, 658 cm³ (I3 DOHC). Eighth-generation Alto, with improved R06A engine, geared more to fuel efficiency, targeting 37 km/ℓ in Eco model. On the basis of the Maruti Suzuki Celerio (FE). Lighter than predecessor by 60 kg but more rigid body. Suzuki claimed the longest cabin length in the kei class, with safety features including radar-supported collision avoidance. Twinned with Mazda Carol (HB36S), built by Suzuki for Mazda as part of an OEM deal. Introduced into Pakistan in 2019 as the country’s first locally made c. 660 cm³ car, replacing the long-serving Mehran.
