Kia Pride (Y)
From AutocadeKia Pride (Y). 1987–2000 (prod. n/a). 3-, 4- and 5-door sedan, 5-door wagon. F/F, 1138, 1323 cm³ (I4 OHC). Mazda-developed small car, built under licence by Kia and sold as Kia Pride and Ford Festiva Mk I. Kia continued production of the model after the original Festiva ceased to be sold abroad, adding a booted sedan and a longer station wagon. Exported under its own marque to some countries, still with the emphasis on cheapness; odd white-wall tyres in some markets. Licensed further for manufacture to SAIPA of Iran as the SAIPA Pride, where it continued into the 21st century.
