Jeep Commander (XK). 2007–10 (prod. 197,000 sold in US only). 5-door SUV. F/A, 2987 cm³ diesel (V6 DOHC), 3701 cm³ (V6 OHC), 4701, 5654 cm³ (V8 OHC). Boxy seven-seat version of the Jeep Grand Cherokee (WK), which did little for overall Jeep sales as it cannibalized from other lines. Supposedly inspired by the Jeep Wagoneer (SJ). Heavier than Grand Cherokee, so performance expectedly affected, and thirsty, though a comfortable and refined large Jeep.
