Hyundai Dynasty (LX). 1996–2005 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan, 4-door LWB sedan. F/F, 2497, 2972, 3496 cm³ (V6 DOHC). Essentially a facelifted Grandeur, originally with the 3·0 and 3·5 only, the 2·5 introduced in 1997. Hyundai’s flagship till the introduction of the original Equus in 1999, which took over from the top Dynastys. Its originally planned successor wound up as the Kia Opirus, and the Dynasty was not replaced till the Genesis was released.
