Honda Passport
From AutocadeWhile Isuzu got the Domani and Accord to sell as its Gemini and Aska, Honda got the Rodeo in return, to sell as its entry in the burgeoning off-road market. This was particularly important in the US, which was seeing growth in this sector, and the Passport went into production at a Subaru–Isuzu plant in the US. A second generation followed for the 1998 model year. Honda released its own Pilot for 2003, replacing the Passport. After a long absence, the Passport nameplate returned for the 2019 model year as a crossover slotting in between the CR-V and Pilot.
