Honda Brio/Honda Amaze. 2011 to date (prod. n/a). 4- and 5-door sedan. F/F, 1198, 1339 cm³ (I4 OHC), 1498 cm³ diesel (I4 DOHC). Entry-level Honda hatchback for Asia, smaller than Fit, priced to rival Hyundai i10 and Daewoo Matiz (M300). Neatly packaged, interior well appointed for the price, though not that well assembled. Refined L-series engines, though not the top performers. Good handling and ride, and well suited to Indian roads. Indian-market Brio Amaze four-door diesel from 2013, dynamically better and more economical than its main rival, the Maruti Swift Dzire. Indian-market Brio Amazes eventually dropped the Brio model name.
