Daewoo Matiz Creative/Chevrolet Beat/Chevrolet Spark (M300). 2009–23 (prod. n/a). 4- and 5-door sedan. F/F, 936 cm³ diesel (I3 DOHC), 995, 1199, 1206, 1249 cm³ petrol, 1199 cm³ LPG (I4 DOHC), 20 kWh electric. Second-generation Matiz (if one counts the M200 as a heavily revised version of the first generation), on GM Gamma platform. More modern styling, with instrument cluster inspired by motorcycle design. Selling on price. Still basic, and behind competitors dynamically, hid by modern styling. Also built in India as Chevrolet Beat; numerous markets received the Korean-built models as Chevrolet Spark. Chilean and Colombian models badged Spark GT to distinguish them from older M200 Spark. Exported to Australasia as entry-level Holden Barina Spark. When the Daewoo brand was retired in Korea in 2011, the home-market models also became Chevrolet Spark. EV from 2013. Notchback sedan shown in India in 2016, released 2017. Uzbekistan the final country to build this model.
