Holden Statesman (WK). 2003–4 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan. F/R, 3791 cm³ (V6 OHV), 5665 cm³ (V8 OHV). Sharper looks for WK, with greater safety. Slightly downmarket from Caprice, but with the addition of one engine option: a supercharged version of the V6, developing 171 kW. V8 not quite as powerful as Caprice’s 245 kW—Statesman’s version was 10 kW down. Arguably better value than Caprice flagship, as Statesman was still a very well equipped traditional Australian luxury car.
