Holden Brougham (HT). 1969–70 (prod. 183,402 all HT). 4-door sedan. F/R, 308 in³ (V8 OHV). Refresh for Holden’s ungainly flagship, with the lighter, Australian-developed Holden 308 as standard. Initially the engine was exclusive to the Brougham, but as stocks of the US-built 307 were used up, it found its way on to lesser models. Higher build quality than other Holdens, well equipped, and claimed to be the quietest car built in Australia.
