Facelifted second-generation Genesis gains a model designation as the range expanded. Adaptive LED headlights introduced, improved quality inside, and new technologies, including partial autonomous driving, driver attentiveness warning system, and Apple Carplay compatibility. Warranty also extended to 100,000 km for five years on the home market (up from 60,000 km and three years). Sport model later in 2016. More active safety from 2018, with rear collision avoidance assistance, among other features.
